As part of my efforts to upskill the community, I personally developed and led courses in Web Design based
programming and IT Fundamentals.
I partnered with workforce programs and local vocational schools to offer these lessons to
disadvantaged members of our community.
One major program offered by this non-profit is Web Design. In this program, we helped our students learn HTML, CSS ana JavaScript while also helping them develop their own websites. Our students have passed industry certifications in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. After completing our program, many of our students were able to find high paying positions in the industry.
IT Fundamentals provide a foundation of knowledge in the field of information technology. This knowledge is essential for anyone looking to start a career in the tech industry or for those looking to expand their skillset in their current job. IT Fundamentals cover a wide range of topics, including computer hardware and software, networking, security, and data management. By understanding these concepts, job seekers will be better equipped to navigate the constantly evolving world of technology and be more competitive in the job market.
